Well, as I mentioned earlier, the P.I.Jane team was at C2E2 and We debut Our first collection of the webcomic as well a peek at the Graphic Novel submission for Jane...

Another request to do SpiderKermit, for Lauren Burke's friend, Jason... I Hope You like the sketch Jason...

I'm going to have to explore other Muppet characters as Heroes...

This the cover Team Jane come up with for Our submission ashcan, which We had at C2E2 as well... Jane was done in pencils first, then in Illustrator CS2... I did the background in Photoshop Cs... I was Happy with the results...

Sketch and Scott Pilgrim Avatar Dump. Yes, I did a Scott Pilgrim avatar.

And this is it. "El Toro". I've been called a Bull so many times, it seemed appropriate.

I like many of My peers, grew up on a healthy dose of Hanna-Barbera and Ruby Spears cartoons. When I sketched these up, I wondered, "Why hasn't anyone licensed any of these characters for a reboot"? Needless to say, these a but a few I'd like to play with someday.

I drew this one up at the last Windy City Con. Not sure why I put the "Dr. Skullface on His sleeve. I think I might've been in the middle of some conversation, and it worked it's way into the sketch.

Whenever someone buys a "CUCOS!" sketchbook from me, I do up a sketch in there (As any of You saw in the previous post). This is one I did for David Gruba .

Another Post! Finally...

Here are some "Blast From the Past" sketches from the last few years.

Now Bruce Lee may never have done this, but there's no reason to believe that He couldn't do this, if He felt like it.

This one came about, around the time that My pal Rafael Nieves did a story for a Phantom Anthology for Moonstone Books. I thought it was Funny that a Character that is so Iconic, partially for having a couple of 45 caliber pistols, hardly ever uses them accordingly. Like Blasting holes in Shit.

Rafael and Dan also have some New "The Apocalypse Plan" news, so head on over and read about it.

This is a "Jabberwocky" Commission Piece I did Tom Negovan, that He had ordered for His Lady Fair, Gail Potocki. I was Happy with how it turned out, and might throw Digital Hues on it. We'll see.

So Terry Gant, Owner of

Third Coast Comics

has been hosting a Sketchbook Session over at His shop every 3rd. Thursday for the last 2 months, and it's been Fun each time. Below You'll see a couple of Sketches I did at the 1st session. This "Smurf/Fargo" sketch was done in Terry's BIG-Ass sketchbook. The idea wasn't even in My head, til I doodled one the circles that ended up being on top of the mushroom house. At the last one, I did a marker sketch of Mr. Midnight for Terry. I'll post that one, when I get it scanned.

I did this one in another friend's (Dave Santiago) sketchbook. He asked Me to do a sketch of a character He's developing, but I wasn't in that frame of mind. I sketched a Smurf feeding another Smurf's Limbs into a wood chipper just before that. Designing a serious character after that seemed a bit beyond My abilities at the time. So I went with the next best thing, The Batman and His Arch Nemesis, The Joker.

Before His rise to "Blogosphere" stardom, Lonely Rice had His own 80's sitcom, with His previous comedy partner, Omar "Gandule" Rivera. Unfortunately, the show never got passed the pilot when tragedy struck. The film crew, ravenous from a full morning of filming the 2nd episode, took a lunch break and noticed that the caterers never showed up. Needless to say, Lonely and Gandule were the only survivors of the massacre. They grew apart, eventually the team split and Gandule has not been seen since. There's a lot of unproven rumors of what might've happened to Him after He disappeared. I heard that He became an Underworld Pitfighting Champ, but I'm calling Bullshit on that one. As for Lonely, We teamed up. But that's a story for another time.

So, I am gettin' over one Helluva' Cold/Flu that knocked the Livin' Doo-Doo's outta' Me, and I remembered that I haven't posted anywhere for a minute. And since I'm tryin' to get better at Postin' on a regular basis, here's a Big Shout and Hug for My Gramps who Passed Away 2 years ago today. He's still Awesome to Me.

I Miss You Gramps.

ICE CREAM MAN !!!

Here are some character designs and pencilled pages for another short story that I'm workin' on with

Rafael Nieves

. It's a Fun story, I'm lookin' forward to finishin', soon.

These first 2 pages, I was tryin' to get a feel for the Ice Cream Man/Hero and His Ride. As You can see, I tried a few different looks for him.

The next 2 pages have sketches of the Villains/Bullies, their Muscle car, and the Girl who gets caught in the middle of all the action. I'm goin' to have to trim down the look of the bullies, as it's way to hot to be wearin' a sweater and boots. Well, maybe I'll keep the boots.

Here are the pencils for the pages as they stand right now (There's more to come). The pencils are very tight and after any revisions, might stay pencilled. I think I might just clean it up a bit in PS and throw some hues on it ala "Header" style. Still tryin' to figure that out as well.

Goodbye 2009!!! And I Hope You Burn In HELL!!!

Yeah! That's how I Feel about the last year. But I don't want to get into that. I do However, want to put some random Art I've done beyond the Webcomics, You should all be followin' religiously. They are as follows.

I have spent a considerable amount of time down at My friend's Krista and Halen's house this passed year. And they have 2 beautiful little girls. They are Hailey, a 4 year old Force of nature who will probably be My boss someday. And Madeline, the latest addition to their family. Now, Hailey has taken a real Shine to Me lately, and has wanted to draw and color with me whenever I stop by. As I mentioned before this kid is going to be controlling Your kids someday. I'm makin' that prediction right here, right now. She is only interested in a few things right now on a consistent basis. Hannah Montana, Noggin, and Tinkerbell. Everything else only sates an occasional curiosity. Sorry, I didn't mean to ramble. But she likes art time with Me, and I think that's Cool. Which leads to this Goofy-Ass lookin' Bear. I haven't actually used a crayon to draw in a really long time. But she was in the mood to use those, and one does not trifle with Hailey. But I digress, I like the sketch. Enough to put it here at least.

This one is from another Sketch Session with Hailey. I asked Her what kind of character She would like. She says a Fox. So I began what became a collaborative piece with Hailey, (You'll notice the fire burnin' on top of the Foxes head.). Once I was done, I asked what the Fox's name was and She looked at Me with a Quizzical look on Her face and asked Me what I thought it should be. I blurted "Foxy McBootiepants"!!! She Giggled and gave Me the go ahead. The next time I saw Her, I asked if Foxy has a Buddy. She looked at Me like, "Yeah! A Butterfly!" I thought, "SHIT! I Hate Drawin' Butterflies!". What I said was, "Whaaaat? For real? A Butterfly? Cool! ". And I Smiled. I haven't actually drawn the Butterfly yet, but I'm convinced She's having Me design the characters for some future tv hit, that She'll take credit for.

This was a Wolverine commission sketch I did for Len and Susan Kody's friend Ed. I miss the Ol' Canucklehead throwin' down with the Hand Ninjas. So I had fun doin' this one up.

At Chicago Comic Con 2009, This other guy wanted a quickie commission sketch from Me, so I asked Him what He liked. He said "Uh, Spiderman, Kermit the Frog,-". I told Him He could stop right there. I knew what I was goin' to do immediately.

Sorry for the lack of Updates lately. I'm goin' through a bit of a transition in Life right now. Havin' said that, I have decided not to let any of it keep Me away from what I LOVE doin'. Makin' and Sharin' My Art and Ideas. I Salute all of You that return here expectin' to see any "New Cartoony Madness".

Whoopsy, is Pooper's Best Pal. And why not? They're like two Peas in a Pod or two Poots in a Potty.

Sometimes, a sketch never makes it into a "sketchbook". Rather, it graces the back of an envelope, a page in the phone book, or even right next to the side items on a menu. This time, it was a sheet of animation paper I had handy. We've got some Barbarian Warriors, a dancin' Weirdo, and Gary from "Jack of Fables" .

I Was Havin' a "Heavy Metal" moment in My Head when I sketched this one out...

I Miss the Genre the way it existed back in the 70's and 80's... While the Movie is a bit dated, I can still watch It in It's Entirety without Skippin' Ahead to the next chapter... Hell, the SouthPark Guys Spoofed "Heavy Metal" in that Cat Piss episode (Hilarious By the Way )... Those stories could be about AnyThing, Happenin' AnyWhere... I Guess it's why I find Myself startin' to enjoy European comics more... Hmmm, I'll have to come back and Elaborate on that subject later, when I have a bit more time...

MERRY CHRISTMAS YA'LL'S!!!

Below are some scans from a Comic I did back in 1996, that went by the name "CHILLIN'S"... It was put out by Moonstone, and it had quite a few Talented Writers and Cartoonists involved (Rafael Nieves, Juan Gomez, Brian Mitchell)... This story in particular, was written by Nick Muntean and Illustrated by Me... Inked with a BIC pen mostly (Cuz' I couldn't Ink with anything else very well a the time)... It's Hard to look at Old Work like this, but it was a Fun project to work on... Also attached, is a page from My sketchbook where I revisited the Characters... I'd LOVE to do another story with these 2 Siblin's, where I can go Totally Nuts... Maybe...

Next Time, I'll post the "Earl and Walter" story I did with Rafael, as well as current Sketches of those Guys as well...

Late Night Sketch Postin'...

Here's a "Blasto From El Pasto" ( Well, Not that Old Actually )... I was tryin' to get that 80's Horror/Family Flick Look with this Sketch, ( You Know; Goonies, Monster Squad, Gremlins)... I started Doodlin' around with My Markers, tryin' to get an Autumn Color Palette goin'... In Hindsight, I should've incorporated some bolder colors into it... Like some Purples, Darker Browns, even some Richer Yellows ( Oh well, Live and Learn )... I've had this idea millin' around in My Melon for quite awhile already... Maybe, as I develop it more, I'll post more about it...

Relatively New Sketch, of an Old Character from My AD&D Days... A Ranger that My Friends Steve and Dave had Fun makin' Jump through some Dangerous Hoops... This sketch was a Mini-Homage to Dak's ( Yes, that's His Name ), early adventures that mirrored My inexperience as a Player... Good Times...

Some more Moleskine Sils... Only this time I was goin' for Warriors/Fighters... Not nearly as much fun as the CUCOs' one I posted previously, but this SketchBlog is about the Bad as much as it is the Good... At least that's what I told Myself when I posted this one...

Well, Jen and I are headin' out to Iowa for the Weekend, so I thought I'd throw some Sketch-A-Roni's up for all 6 of You who actually show up anymore...

I remember, back in the day how Excited I'd get knowin' that is was "DodgeBall" day in P.E. ... Sure, it was about the Strategy, Bein' able to run around Yellin' and Laughin' in Public without Worry of Reprimand... But My Favorite part of it was watchin' SomeOne (Anyone really) catchin' one of those Red Missles right to the Grill... First Off that Sound of it Hittin' and Expandin' around as much of the face as it could, before Bouncin' off in another direction (Classic)... Followed by that Slow-Mo Fall backwards onto Their ButtCheeks... Topped off by that Bewildered look of "WTF" ... Man, I miss Grammar School...

I can't even begin to explain how messed-up I'm feelin' right now about the passin' of Mike Wieringo... Although I never met the Guy, it's hard not to feel some connection to someone whose Art You've followed, and studied for such a long time... I can only imagine how difficult it must be for His Family or those who knew and worked with Him... It's unfortunate, that it takes a Tragedy like this to put things back into Perspective...

MOB RULE DECLARED IN CHICAGO!

Authorities uncovered a plot by a nefarious group of artists, writers, and other bohemian ne’er-do-wells planning to storm the upcoming Wizard World convention in Chicago on Thursday, August 9th, through Sunday, the 12th.

The insurgents are intent on taking over the event, inciting riots and attempting to add numerous supporters to their dastardly cause. Their goal seems to be nothing short of world domination!

Early intelligence reports have identified key members of this mob; a full disclosure of their names and areas of expertise are as follows:

Rafael Nieves, a Writer (VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE; THE PHANTOM; MR. MOTO) and subversive, and the apparent ringleader of the mob whom, it is said, has threatened to sell and sign numerous publications from his 20 year stint in the field. Nieves has aligned himself with quite a diverse band of hooligans, which includes these known associates:

Douglas Klauba, Painter and Cover Artist for THE PHANTOM, KOLCHAK, THE SPIDER, DOC SAVAGE, ZORRO... will have copies of his Sketchbook for sale, packaged between full color covers, with never before seen drawings, sketches and roughs from throughout his career and, for the very first time, includes a special Phantom section of preliminary drawings and studies. This is a "Moldie-Oldie" Sketch of Stormy Cat... She was the "Cat-Girl" in a Old Story of mine... Not much to tell now, since She's gone through some Visual and Characteristic Changes since I Sketched this out... NEXT!!!

GAH!!! Febuary Post #3 was supposed to get put up last night, but I became preoccupied with Stella and Her Neediness... It's hard to resist Her and Her Puppy Powers... So, here We go...

I've got a couple of "Moldie-Oldies" in this post... First off, is a Dragon I designed back in 2000... It blows my mind that I drew every Scale on this baby... I still haven't found the other ones I did around the same time... They're much less detailed than this one...

"Moldie-Oldie" #2, is of a Character I did several years back for an Animation Group called CATNAP ((Chicago Area Toon Novices and Professionals))... It was started by Norm Dwyer, Kevin larson, and other Chicago based Animators... We had meetin's where We learned about Animation, Showed off whatever projects We were workin' on at the time, and had Guest Speakers within the Industry... The first group project was supposed to be an Animated Short featurin' a "CATNAPPER" ... This is the LiL Guy I turned in... The project never went anywhere, so I stopped goin' to the meetin's...

Just a Grafitti Doodle that got Colored... I still like the colorin' and the letters, but I wish I woulda' paid more attention to that Generic-Ass Character...

"Febuary Post # 2"...

A few blogs ago, I posted a page of this Guy... This was one that manage to Sneak passed that post... He's Trouble alright...

I HATE It when I get Art Block... It used to be much worse when I was Younger... When You don't know "WHY" all of the sudden You can't draw anythin'... "WHY" all of the sudden everythin' You put to paper looks like you drew it with Your ButtCheeks... After awhile, one does figure out the little things they can do to get past it... Me, I just have to draw all the "CRAP" outta' my system... This was how I felt for a couple of days last week...

This is the first Cuco! Sketch-A-Roni in a New SketchBook I picked up at Dick Blick's Art Supply a couple of weeks ago... I think it came from hearin' about all the Drama goin' on in BaseBall... I don't follow sports, but I do follow the News... Some of the Sports Stuff must've leaked into my subconcious, and CUCO'ed it's way into my Sketch-A-Roni here... Weird, huh???

I had a Dream about these Animated Clowns (( THANK YOU WEEDAGE!!! ))... These 2 were the only ones I could remember the next day... I LOVE to watch someone who know's how to Juggle, unless they are usin' knives... I always see it goin' wrong, and that person losin' a Finger or Three...

This Clown grabs Bombs outta' his pants and wreaks Havoc everywhere, like most guys I guess...

First is "Maneaters" in WideVision Format... Which is a Large Art Spread running across two pages of Text, written by His Raffiness...

Here We have some Character Sketches and Color Studies of a Comic Idea Rafael and I had... This goes back to a Doodle of a Teddy Bear Skin that had become inhabited by an Alien that I did a few years back... Raf saw it and created a Sweet Print along with an idea for a story... So, I thought I'd post'em here... We have "It", It's BestFriend "Naomi" and her brother "Omar"...

I was just tryin' to lockdown the look and feel while figurin' out a color palette with this "It" & "Naomi" Color Study...

Workin' out some of "It's" body language...

Hey Folks,

Just wanted to give a Birthday Shout Out to Best Bud Rafael Nieves today... Yeah I know it's kinda' late in the day to be puttin' that in the Blog, but I couldn't "Not" do it... I Hope You had a Great Day Pa'...

Now some Sketch-A-Roni's... These first Two are from that Mahjong Game that died... It was decided early on that the Otter probably wasn't gonna make the cut, but I liked the Sketch...

Here's Three of the Six Designs for the Dhole... I would have to say this version of the Design is my Favorite... However, it does lack the "FoxLike" features of the Dhole... But it's cute and I Like it...

I started this SketchPage Doodlin' some Faces, but I was hatin' how they were comin' out pretty quickly... I almost tore out the page, but I thought I'd just fill in the rest of the page "Not" with faces... It started out with the 3 at the Center Bottom... I just got Hooked on a "Ghost" fix for a few minutes... I went til it stopped bein Fun...

Who knows ??? Maybe the Ghosties will return someday... You just never know When or Where They'll pop up...

This is another Little T-Shirt Sketch Design I came up with to be a "Bad*Day" T-Shirt Character... I named it after the "Mood" and my old cat "Stormy"... I Miss that Cat...

Happy Wednesday Night...

Sorry I've been slackin' on posts... I've been Sick with a Cold for the last week... And just plain LAZY the rest of it... So, My Apologies for the Lull in Content... I hope You all came lookin' for some Sketch-A-Doodles... Cuz' I have in fact posted some... Some recent, and one that my Friend Steve still has from Kelvyn park High School... Yep, this sketch is 20 years old, and I HATE it... I look at it and wonder why anyone Liked my art... I digress, this was an assignment to Draw up our version of, You Guessed It, "Peer Pressure"... I could go back in time and SLAP myself, if Time Travel were in Fact an Option... But it's not, so onto the "Moldie-Oldie"...

This would be the next oldest... I did this Stoopid PhotoShop Experiment on a picture of Me with my Goggles on, and Dubbed it Howler MonkeyMan... I sent it to my Friend Johnny, and He did His own version of it too... If I find it, I'll post both of them later... Anywho, I Doodled-Up a Character Sketch of Howler MonkeyMan and His SideKick Magoo... And this is it... I guess I owe You the 5 Seconds You wasted readin' all this for a Stoopid Sketch... NEXT!!!

Just some Warm-Up Sketch-A-Doodles... But, I do LIKE the Panda Ninja, "PANJA"... HA-HA!!! MINE-ALL-MINE!!! I Claim It!!! Sorry, I Blame the NYQUIL... I guess those LiL Bastards from the Previous Post were right, I do leave more Space on a Page than I should... I'll fill it in with some more Warm-Ups...

Every once in awhile, I just doodle a bunch of Faces on a Page... No real reason, I just do it... I try not to spend more than a minute or two on each person... Just to keep fresh...

WHAT!?! It's my Nose... I'll shove Rabid Guinea Pigs up in there if I choose too... It's not the finger in the nose that's Gross... It's the Germ-Infested Boogie that's attached to said Finger, that starts the ChunderFest that's the Kicker...

Remember when Don Knotts used to do His "Karate-Chop" Fists on "Three's Company"??? That always made me laugh... I was really Sad when He passed this last year... Comedic Actors like Him just don't exist anymore... I think I'll order "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken" and "The Incredible Mr. Limpet " on NETFLIX... I still enjoy those Old Films... They were so much FUN... I miss FUN Films... Good-Bye Don...

Oooh, Late Nite Postin'...

First off, I'd like to let everyone in Vegas know that my Friend Gina Robinson will be attendin' an Art Show in DownTown Las Vegas on Friday ((Tonite)) between 6pm and 10pm... It's gonna be on the corner of Charleston and Main St. ... She'll be at the Street Fair which'll be South of the Art Factory, around the FunkHouse... I couldn't get any pics of Her Paintin's, so I'm postin' a pic of my Pal Gina, so You'll know who to look for... Very Cool Paintin's, even Cooler Person...

A Moldie-Oldie Sketch Page... This one's from last year, when I was poundin' out loads of Sketches for my Barabrian Story... These are a few of many background characters... I pretty sure I posted the Wrestlin' lookin' guy before, but not the other guys...

The next couple of Sketches, are from a Long Nite of Adult Swim Shows I was watchin'... ATHF cracks me up...

HAPPY NEW YEARS !!! 2007 is here and it should be a Great New Year... Just a quick post to start it off right... So, here We go...

First off, Jen and I got a Puggle Puppy for Christmas... Her name is Stella Elizabeth Maldonado... Yeah, I know it sounds Cheesy, but Tough Shit... Here She is in all Her Glory...

This here is a Caricature Pin-Up I did for Mi Amigo Rafael Nieves' Re-Release of His and Juan Gomez's "The Bells"... It'll be Chock Full of All Kinds of Goodness... But, more news about that later...

Just some Character Designin' of my own... I was playin' around with Urban Type of Warriors... Warriors who still carry their Metal with Them... I might still mess around with the this guy some, and throw some color on Him later... We'll see...

Hey Folks,

Not feelin' to good today ((WAH!!!)), but I just wanted throw some more Sketches up in order to keep the postin' goin'... Here You go...

This is another Moldie-Oldie from 2002... I was still doodlin' most of the time with Bic Pens at the time... I still like to, but now I'm goin' steady with Color-Erase pencils... Anywho, this was another Character Concept I came up with for Johnny's "Who?The Hex!" property... I thought it might be pretty messed-up to have Your arms on the side of Your head instead of where they usually are... And, I thought this would offer a new kinda' dynamic for a character... Blah-Blah-NEXT!!!

Some more Animal Designs I did... This is the Dugong... It's an aquatic mammal, from the Red Sea and Indian Ocean... But seein' as how the game was outta' water, I had to make sure it still looked comfortable... I would LOVE to have seen this one done in 3D... Aw well...

I knew I had a couple of more Elephants around... Here they go...

This is the Gibbon... It's a very rare Arboreal Anthropoid Ape from the East Indies and Southern Asia... Cute Lil Bugger, eh ???

And lastly, we have a Langur... It a Long-Tailed from Asia... I like it's chin tuft and bushy eyebrows, but concentrated more on the Eyebrows...

Okay, so I missed December 1st, 2nd, and most of the 3rd... Friday was totally on me, my BAD... Saturday and Today however, were interrupted by one of my Migraine HeadAches... It has to be one of the worse ones I've had in awhile... Gruesome details aside, I wanted to at least post some sketches this weekend... Here You go...

A Moldie-Oldie from last year... Just some random People Sketch-A-Doodies... A few are cartoony versions of folks I saw throughout that day... The rest, were just from my melon... I threw some gray tones down, so it didn't look so borin'...

A couple of other Cute Animal Designs... Here's a couple of the Elephants I did for that game... I've got a few others around... When I find them, I'll post'em...

Somehow, I got the Musk-Ox on the first try... I know, I was as Surprised as any of You...

I followed this Lady and Her Kids around the Dominicks one day... No, not in a Stalker kinda' way... I was waitin' in line at the atm, and this poor Lady and Her Brood were in front of me... She said, "We're gonna just run in, pick-up some of Mommy's things, and then go... Okay???" ... The Daughter looked like She got dragged into a Haunted House and wanted to leave... The Son on the other hand, looked He was ready to EXPLODE, and said to His Mom, "OKAY!!! Then I get to pick something out for me too, RIGHT???" ... They were both ready to jump outta their skins, but for 2 totally different reasons... I thought that Shit was funny, so I snatched-up the things on my list, and began to look for them in the store... Lo and behold, there they were in the cereal ailse... The Girl tuggin' away at Her Mom's skirt, cryin'... While Jr. was bouncin' up and down, not knowin' what to pick... Bug-Eyed, He started to run in place, until His Mom said, "Well, what're You gonna get???"... He took off runnin', pushed His sister out of the way, and ran straight for the Fruit Loops... She sat on the ground, DumbFounded by what just happened... She quietly got up, looked at Her Mommy, and started cryin' where She left off... Mom looked totally UnAffected, and pushed forward to get the rest of Her, "Mommy Things"... That was enough for me, so I left, came home and doodled this out... I LOVE Grocery Shoppin'...

My head still hurts, so that's wrap on this post... I'll give You guys/girls a better one later...

YAY!!! Another Sketch-A-Doodle Post before the "END" of November... And what an end it's gonna be... On the Channel 9 News this mornin', Paul Conrad says were in for a Winter Storm from Three this afternoon til Noon tomorrow... Yeah, that BLOWS ((A LOT))... I'm so not lookin' forward to this at all... Mostly, cuz' I'm still lookin' for the rest of my Winter Gear... Alright, enough "CryBabyin'", onto the Sketch-A-Doodles...

WOOO!!! Here's a Moldie-Oldie from 2002... This one was a mixture of Character Design and testin' of a New Brushpen... While I liked the character itself (( I might revisit Vic at a later time)), the brushPen left much to be desired... I wasn't usin' it but a couple of minutes before the tip started to fray... I don't know about You guys/girls, but I HATE that... Especially whilst inkin' a sketch or worse, WORK... Nowadays, I'm usin' the PITT BrushPen... Which I'm likin' quite a bit, at least until I find a better one...

Here's a few other Cute Animal Designs, that went with the Panda and Sloth Bears... This one's a Sun Bear... I was goin' for a playful look with this lil guy...

This one's a Chinese Hamster... Of the two, I like the one on the left best...

And, two different kinds of Loris... There were so many kinds of Loris, it was hard for me to pick which one the client might like, so I picked these two...

I just felt like drawin' a little Fire dude... Who knows, I might vector it and throw it on a t-shirt... We'll see...

Hey EveryBody...

I'm tryin' to get better with postin' more often... I'm gonna try and vary it up a bit more... I looked through a bunch of my old SketchBooks, and realized that there's a slew of Old Ass Sketch-A-Roni's that predate my blog... Most of them will never make it on here, mostly cuz' they blow... I mean there is some serious "Suckage" goin' on in those pages... I kinda' feel like that page woulda' looked better with a Coffe Cup Stain, or just left alone... But I digress, some of them still hold up... Like I look at some of it and think, "Man, I'm glad I did that the way that I did it... Shit... I'd do it the same way over again"... And those my dear amigos, will be displayed for Your amusement... Those are the ones I am most proud of... Okay, okay, I'm done... No more BLAH-BLAH-BLAH!!! Onto the reason any of You, come here for in the first place...

So, I'm gonna start off with the first of those Old Sketches... My friend Juan Gomez has a Property that goes by the name "Who? The HEX!"... Head over to my Links-A-Roni section, go to the site, and get lost in His world... While in it's infant state, Juan asked me too play around with some designs for background characters... I thought it was such a cool idea, that I kinda went a little nuts with stuff I came up with... I explored some of His established characters, so I could get into the frame of mind necessary to give Him some cool stuff to look over... This Scarecrow is one of the over flows that I still like... Maybe, I'll play around with it myself...

YAYY!!! I finally remembered to post the "TOASTERHEAD" vector I did ... I posted the sketch a couple of months ago... The sketch came from that part of my SubConcious that should have a security gate with a buzzer to get in... Anywho, I had just sent off a job that I had finished, and needed some Doodle Decompression... I actually used the Illustrator Groove I had goin' on off the last gig, and vectored this guy... I thought I could take a sketch of mine and do a Finished Look to it, like I do for Clients... So, I did... I really like this Character, and I'm lookin' forward to explorin' a new way to effect people who look at my work... OH SHIT!!! I started runnin' at the mouth again, Sorry... NEXT!!!

Aaawww, *Cute Animal Designs ALERT* ... These two Bear Designs were for an online game, that didn't happen... It's a shame really, cuz' all the work ( Which was all Amazin' by the way ) won't go any further... I really had fun designin' these animals, with Creative Direction comin' from

Then we have the Sloth Bear Clean-Ups...

These guys are some punks that happen to be WereWolves, at least in my head they are... They're not Nomadic Bikers, or Tunnel Dwellers... They are regular guys who happen to be WereWolves, who just want to be left alone... I know, "That sounds BORIN" as HELL"... But if WereWolves exist, then chances are that other creatures, entities, or urban legends exist as well... And they are bound to come across each other, as Exceptional Beings Do... I think...

Panda Doodies... These are residual Sketches from a Character Design job I had that fell through... Maybe the next "Sketch Dumpola" will be all Animales... Would You like to see them ??? I knew You would...

Another Sketch for my future Barbarian Story... It's not even close to a "Done Design"... However, it'll give me something to work with when it's time for me to jump on that project, someday...
